So I recently designed a my daughter's party to celebrate her sixth birthday. Coming up with the theme for her party this year was a little bit of a challenge I must say. She always gets first crack at the themes that I create and therefore has already had parties of the major girly themes. But thank goodness for Barbie! She has really been into Barbie's Princess Charm School as she received the movie and doll several weeks ago. And then it hit me - Charm School! I have always loved the black, white and soft pink colour palette and thought it would give this theme a very classic and elegant look. I designed this welcome sign to fit within this fantastic baroque frame and added the pink peony for a burst of colour. The sign reads "Welcome to Machaila's Charm School!" So beautiful and it really set the tone of the party.
These chargers were a fantastic find I must say. Perfect in colour and they have a rhinestone trim to add the perfect touch of sparkle.
Our Charm School Printable Placecards were used to make every girl feel special at their seat put together just for them.
I added pink peonies everywhere to add a bit of whimsy and of course more pink!
The Vanity!!! Here I used my daughter's vanity from her bedroom as it is pale pink and fit perfectly with the colour scheme.

All of the girls were provided with adorable pink tutus which were personalized for each one with our Charm School Printable Party Circles. A rhinestone sticker was added to continue with that element of a little sparkle.
What is a party without a candy buffet?!?!
Where do I start? Well, how about the centerpiece of the buffet, the cake! Irene from Irene's Bake Shop as always provided us with gorgeous cakes and she was able to create this beautiful Barbie inspired cake. Not only was this cake amazing to look at but it was so delicious that many went back for seconds. Pink rock candy, bubble gum cake pops, gum balls, strawberry marshmellows, french vanilla cupcakes, pink swirly lollipops and salt water taffy all make up this amazing candy buffet. The girls loved getting their little candy bags to fill up with goodies at the end of the party. Our Charm School Printable Fancy Labels finished off the entire look!
Our Charm School Printable Party Cirlces topped the cupcakes and adorned a few of the glass containers on the buffet.

The colour scheme for this party theme was carried right to the end with this stunning favor table. The girls were able to pick up a bag full of girly goodies and a sugar cookie for the ride home.
Once again, Irene from Irene's Bake Shop amazed us with replicating our Charm School graphic onto these outstanding sugar cookies.
